Todd
Omohundro is a music teacher in the Blue Bell Elementary School who formed
the Rhythm Bandits in the fall of 2000. The Rhythm Bandits play a mixture of
rock, blues and jazz classics with some originals songs mixed in. Their new
CD “Living Free In A Beautiful World” showcases the band’s songwriting
diversity and performing talents.
Todd has a BA in music composition and an MA in music education from the
University Of The Arts in Philadelphia, PA. He has performed in many rock
& jazz bands, as a singer-songwriter in local coffeehouses, as a
performer at the “Lil Diddies” rock and roll sing along bar at 8th and
Market in Philadelphia, and as a drummer in the Crossmen Jr. Drum &
Bugle Corps. He has sung with the Philadelphia Orchestra when he was a
member of the Choral Arts Society. His greatest love is jazz-rock music like
Sting, Steely Dan, Billy Joel, Chicago and Dave Mathews and Santana.
Al Pavone is a fabulous rock, blues and jazz guitarist who specializes in
many different guitar stylings. He has played in many different bands
including at one point being an opening act for Aerosmith and Cheap Trick.
Al works at Lockheed Corp in King of Prussia.
Brian Taylor joined his first rock band in high school and has played ever
since. Before the Rhythm Bandits he was in the band “Joe The Rockhead”
and “Redline”. Brian works at Lockheed Corp also.
Larry Bergman plays fretless, Fender and Hofner basses. He loves all kinds
of music and shares the Rhythm Bandits love of classic rock, jazz and blues.
Larry owns Eastland T-shirt factory in the northeast.
